Bobby Dodge is a detective with the Massachusetts State Police. He’s assigned to work with his former lover, Boston Police Sergeant D.D. Warren. She’s heading up the task force to find out who killed the six little girls recently uncovered in an underground room discovered on the grounds of a deserted mental hospital.
Annabelle Granger’s family fled the Arlington area when she was seven years old and her father kept the family on the run for many years, changing their names every time they changed cities. Annabelle is wary of everyone and lives in fear that whoever was after her twenty-five years ago is after her again. Bobby and D.D. must also find out what’s really going on with Annabelle and who her father really was.
Are all these incidents related? This is a good, fast-paced story with a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
