Dry Ice by Stephen White
Oh, the troubles secrets can cause. Alan Gregory has one he’s never told his wife of many years. Lauren has one she’s never told Alan. Sam Purdy, Alan’s best friend, has one he hasn’t shared with Alan.
These secrets are about to become public knowledge when nutcase killer Michael McClelland escapes from the Colorado State Mental Hospital. Michael, Alan, Lauren, Sam and a few others had quite a showdown with McClelland at the Gregory home many years ago. He escapes and goes after revenge, with accomplices, in the most cunning and personal of ways against all three of them.
This is a good story with the author’s dry humor, a few surprises and many loose ends.
