The Overlook by Michael Connelly

This Harry Bosch story is a tad better than Echo Park. He’s now working in the Homicide Special Squad of the Robbery-Homicide Division and working with a new, young partner, Ignacio Ferras. A guy was killed on the overlook above Mulholland Dam. What sets everyone off is this guy had access to radioactive substances. So Bosch, Ferras and FBI agent Walling set out to find whodunit. A few other people end up dead before Harry figures out who’s behind the murder and why it’s not a national crisis. It’s a quick read.
